Why therapy?

At times, we all need someone to talk to.

Psychotherapy, a type of talk therapy, helps individuals identify their challenges while working towards restoring and sustaining their mental health and well-being.

About Alejandra

I consider psychotherapy my calling...

From a young age, I’ve never thought about pursuing any other career path. As an adult, I feel fortunate to work in such a meaningful profession that I am truly passionate about.

Using primarily a psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, and neuropsychotherapy perspective while maintaining a client-centred approach, our sessions will involve in-depth talk therapy aimed at exploring core issues that may be affecting your daily life.

My goal is to provide individualized care for clients facing a variety of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, life transitions, and stress.

Having also worked as a disability support worker for children with neurodegenerative conditions, I am particularly passionate about helping those affected by a family member’s physical or psychological condition.

My mission is to create a safe space for my clients, free from shame and judgment, where they can express themselves openly and feel truly heard.

I offer services in both English and Spanish, tailored to your needs and preferences.
